WHAT IS TBRI?

Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) is a therapeutic approach that helps caregivers treat children who have experienced trauma. TBRI is based on attachment theory and neuroscience.

HOW DOES TBRI WORK?

TBRI helps caregivers identify the needs of children and youth

  • TBRI helps caregivers provide effective support and treatment

  • TBRI helps children who have experienced trauma, which can impair their language, sensory processing, and coping skills

  • TBRI helps children who have experienced adversity, early harm, toxic stress, and/or trauma
